Message From The Dean:-

“All the wealth of the world cannot help one little Indian village if the people are not taught to help themselves. Our work should be mainly educational, both moral and intellectual."-   (Swami Vivekanand)

It is a matter of immense pleasure for me to welcome new students joining the University in different programmes of SOHSS. The students need to feel that they are just moving away from one family to another. The teachers of the school shall support and help them in life as professionals in the study programmes they have opted. All human beings have aspirations. One may aspire to become a manager, an engineer, a doctor or anything else. In India the educational ideals have been generated in keeping with the social and religious ideals.
The University provides the students the opportunity of such growth through a complex structure of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. We wish to bring out the best in you and wish to improve it to the world with confidence. It is extracted that the ideal of an educated man extends from a person well-versed in empirical knowledge which one gets through the training of his sense organ to the knowledge of self.
On behalf of the University family, I wish and assure you that we will help you, pursue your objectives of life under the various social and cultural environment and make the University family proud of your attainments.
